Steve named Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart is WGN Radio Pet Central 2008 Person of the Year for his passion to sniff out dog fighters. That’s great. Better is to save some of these dogs who find themselves in circumstances beyond their control. Eliot Ness is a Pit Bull who now works for the County as a cadaver dog. On the video (below), you’ll see the Sheriff wants to carefully choose additional dogs, and he explains why this is not only lifesaving for the selected dogs, but also saves taxpayer dollars. You’ll also learn about a heroic Bloodhound.
