Acupuncture: Dr. Judy Morgan Says It May Help
Acupuncture is something we all have heard about – meaning we know the term. But what is it really? Dr. Judy Morgan explains, and says this form of medicine can help our pets. She’s my guest on my national Steve Dale’s Pet World radio show.
I ask about the fact acupuncture involves needles, and how pets and also clients feel about it.
She also explains electroacupuncture, and why that can make the effects of acupuncture last longer.
Acupuncture, we know, is often use to relive the pain of arthritis. Dr. Morgan explains a myriad of other possible ways which acupuncture can help, from animals with elevated liver enzymes to kidney disease to treating infections. She says, “It’s pretty limitless; we can use it for so many problems.”
Ideally, if it was up to Dr. Morgan, pet caretakers wouldn’t wait until the pets’ senior years to use acupuncture.
