Adopt This Turkey from South Suburban

Eleven months — and I am pretty sure 11 dogs adopted on WGN Radio — so, let’s go for number 12!

It will be a challenge, because this dog is a real turkey. But really, that’s only his name: Wild Turkey. He’s actually an energetic 2-year-old Labrador retriever.

South Suburban Humane Society Executive Director Emily Klehm will be taken to the studio by this dog at 9:10 a.m. CST, Tuesday, December 27. Listen in at 720AM or here, as my pal Pete McMurray (filling in for Steve Cochran) and I endeavor to sniff out a good home for this sweet boy. Sweet, but filled with energy, but that’s not a bad thing if you have kids (not talking toddlers here), or are an outdoorsy type yourself. And, Wild Turkey loves to give and show affection and love. He deserves some good lovin’.
