Chicago Animal Control Executive Director's First Interview
Susan talks about her own background, and what the City’s municipal facility is.
Susan describes what’s happening right at CACC – the truth about adoption numbers, and successful partnerships with a wide variety of rescue groups.
I’ve already received email suggesting that I didn’t give people a chance to speak with Susan – nope, not true, just not enough time on the radio as the calls all came in as the show was ending.
Check it out for yourself, the CACC Open House, Saturday, June 18 from noon to 2:30 P.M., 2741 S, Western Avenue. You can sniff out the new CACC dog adoption pavilion, be entertained by Safe Humane Chicago’s playgroups, tour the facility….Susan is not an ED who hides in her office, she’ll say ‘hi,’ and chat about your concerns, and I’ll pop in at some point too. And – who knows – maybe you’ll adopt a new best pal too.
Susan also speaks about her hopes and dreams, and goals – I will say, she’s one smart cookie! I’m more optimistic than ever. #chicagoproud.
