Enrichment Toys to Keep Dogs Active and Interested Indoors

Snowy and cold weather means dogs aren’t outside as often, which means they may go stir crazy. There are lots of games that family members can play with dogs when they’re home, such as hide ‘n seek. There’s also the I-fetch, which I quickly demonstrate in this TV segment. However, providing environmental enrichment toys is healthful for all pets, especially when they can’t go out, kind of brain games for dogs, such as many of the food puzzles which I display here.

I offer some ideas with Ch. 5 anchor Anthony Ponce. And here are many of the products I speak about:

Ball Launcher from I-Fetch

Busy Buddy Toys, Premier Pet Products.

Nina Ottosson/Company of Animals puzzle toys, among the many options,  Dog Brick, Dog Miracle Puzzle, Dog Fighter).

Kong toys (many examples, I chose Classic Kong with Yogurt Spread)

Mystery Tree Dog Toy Puzzle

Merrick Food (dental Greenie chewies)

For cats: Catch or Green by Northmate
