Steve Dale and Vaccine Expert on WGN Radio

Dr. Michael Bauer, medical director at Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital, joins me to talk about vaccines as I fill in for Anna Davlantes on WGN Radio.

Listen HERE to my conversation with the renowned doctor. What is the truth about vaccines in general? Are adjuvants dangerous? Should we all get a flu vaccine especially this year? What percent of people need the COVID vaccine to affect all of us? Will a booster be necessary – why do we need those for some vaccines? Some of these questions do relate to animal health, and people (rightly or wrongly) have similar notions regarding vaccines for pets.

We also spoke specifically about what the latest is known regarding immunity of SARS CoV-2, which causes COVID-19. And specifically about both B and T-cell immunity.

After this interview I explained how Remdesivir came about as a therapeutic to support people with COVID-19.
