The Kindness of a Stranger is a Pit Bull

Angela (authorities aren’t releasing her last name) was leaving a playground with her 2-year old in Port Charlotte, FL. According to published reports, a man approached her with a knife and told her not to make any ‘sudden movements.’

Angela complied, and stood still in her tracks. Just then out of the corner of her eye, she sees a Pit Bull charging her way…The dog kept coming, growing at the offender. It was clear he was trying to defend this woman, according to Animal
Control Lt. Brian Jones. It could we be that the dog save their lives.

We’ve all heard this – dogs defending family members. Thing is, Angela had never seen the dog before in her life.

After the dog successfully chased the bad guy away, Angela quickly put her son into the car, and that’s when the dog turned around and sped toward Angela. He ran right by Angela, and into the open car car door.

So far, no one has claimed the dog – and if the dog remains unclaimed, Angela says that her family will adopt him. And he will be called Angel. Appropriate, don’t you think?

So what about all the bad stories about Pit Bulls? Well, often those dogs are owned by bad people or at least irresponsible people.
