Value of Pets Changing in Mexico

with my friend Dr. Cesar Morales

Can you believe where the largest veterinary conference in the Western hemisphere happens to be? You likely wouldn’t guess Leon, Mexico (Congreso Veterinario de León). I talk on my national radio show with dr. Cesar Morales, who created that conference and others in Central/South America.  Dr. Morales began the event just over two decades ago with 100 attendees. Now, there are just under 20,000. The point is that veterinary medicine isn’t, of course, limited to the U.S. Professionals around the world learn from one another.

We talk about how the human/animal bond in Mexico and Latin American countries are changing. Dr. Morales that bond has coincided with higher or increased education becoming more common.

Aside from great learning, you never know what can happen at this conference. I have a surprising co-speaker for a moment. Unfortunately, I didn’t travel with a light-saber
